Amélioration de la Qualité de l'enseignement des sciences RDC

Ce texte décrit le processus de pré-validation de nouveaux programmes du domaine d'apprentissage des sciences (DAS) pour le cycle terminal de l'éducation (CTEB) de base en République Démocratique du Congo. 84 experts locaux distribués sur 5 sites ont analysé les différents programmes selon une méthodologie stricte. Cette recherche montre une grande cohérence entre les 2 016 choix réalisés par les 84 experts locaux, sur les 10 080 occurrences d'acceptation ou de refus des propositions qui leur sont présentées dans une échelle Likert. Le taux d'acceptation des nouveaux programmes éducatifs du DAS pour le CTEB en République Démocratique du Congo est définitivement élevé. Ces résultats sont toutefois nuancés par le croisement des données qualitatives avec les résultats quantitatifs. Ce texte montre l'importance d'une démarche de pré-validation de nouveaux programmes, impliquant des enseignants et se déroulant avant leur mise à l'essai et leur implantation dans les salles de classe. Summary This text describes the process for pre-validating new programs of study within the Science subject area, for the final cycle of basic education in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Using a well-defined and shared methodology, 84 local experts, spread out over five different locations, analyzed the various programs of study. This research shows a high level of correlation between the 2 016 choices made by the 84 local experts, and the 10 080 instances wherein they either accepted or rejected propositions presented on the Likert scale. The rate of acceptance of new programs of study within the Science subject area, for the final cycle of basic education in the Democratic Republic of Congo is definitely high. The results are somewhat tempered by the fact that qualitative and quantitative data were combined. This text indicates the importance of involving teachers in the process of pre-validating new programs of study, and the timeliness of completing this exercise before programs are piloted and implemented in classrooms.
