Maimouna HALIDOU DOUDOU (Niamey, 1969) is currently Director General of the African Private University for Development (UPAD) in Niger. She has held several strategic positions at national and international level in the area of ​​maternal and child health (Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Chad). She has piloted major projects within the United Nations System, including REACH “Renewed efforts against child hungry and undernutrition” and FORMANUT “Training for nutrition”. His teaching and research activities focus on nutrition, epidemiology, biostatistics and public health. She is also a member of the Royal Academy of Overseas Sciences (RAOS) since 2004 and scientific collaborator at the Center for Research in Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Clinical Research at the School of Public Health of the University “Libre” from Brussels (ESP / ULB) in Belgium since 2008. She is a member of several associations (Nigerien Association of Pediatricians (ASNIPED), Association of French Language Epidemiologists (ADELF), Nigerian Association of Public Health (ANSP)).

She holds a state doctorate in medicine from the University of Niamey (Niger, 1997), a Diploma of higher studies in general pediatrics from the University of Lomé (Togo, 2004) and a doctorate in public health from the University “Libre” from Brussels (Belgium, 2008). His doctoral research focused on "The impact of spirulina supplementation in severely malnourished children as part of nutritional rehabilitation: a double-blind randomized clinical trial". She was responsible for a post-doctoral project in support of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Niamey, for the Project Support Fund of University Development Commission (CUD) current ARES.
